* Occupancy restrictions apply in Gamekeeper’s Cottage. We are currently unable to accept children (under 18) sleeping in the upstairs bedroom in this cottage.
Bookings of 14 nights or more in any cottage will receive a 5% discount on the entire stay.
Infants aged 2 years or under are accommodated free. Limit of one infant per cottage (evidence of infant’s age will be required). A cot is available on request.
Weekly bookings normally run from Friday or Monday for Gamekeeper’s Cottage and Saturday for Gardener’s and Chauffeur’s Cottages.
SHORT BREAKS
Short breaks are charged a minimum of 3 nights and prices are calculated as follows:
3 nights are calculated at 75% of the relevant weekly rate; 4 nights are calculated at 85% of the relevant weekly rate; 5 nights are calculated at 90% of the relevant weekly rate; 6 nights are calculated at 95% of the relevant weekly rate. Requests to stay additional nights will be charged at a nightly rate (relevant weekly tariff divided by 7)
PET CHARGE
There is a charge of £20 per pet.
ELECTRIC VEHICLES
There is no dedicated EV charger available at the property. Details of local charge points are provided in the Guest Information book at the cottage. Charging your vehicle via the domestic supply (‘granny’ charging) is not permitted at the property.
BOOKING & PAYMENTS
Once a booking has been accepted a deposit of 20% of the total cost is required to secure your booking.
A refundable security deposit of £75 is also payable with the balance. This will cover any damage to the property and other incurred costs (e.g. additional cleaning) during your stay. If there is damage, then a partial refund or no refund is given, dependent on the extent of damage (the security deposit may not be the limit of your liability – see full terms and conditions of booking). Where there is no damage, or other incurred costs, the deposit will be refunded in full.
Once payment and all requested booking details are received you will be sent confirmation of your booking. The balance is due six weeks prior to your arrival. We accept payment by credit/debit card, BACS or cheque. Your detailed arrival instructions will be e-mailed to you six days prior to your arrival.
CANCELLATIONS
See booking terms and conditions for details of our cancellation procedure. We recommend and expect that you take out holiday insurance which covers your possessions during your stay and which includes cancellation insurance. We do not offer insurance for your holiday.

ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES
Cottages will be ready from 4pm on your day of arrival. On the morning of your departure, cottages should be vacated by no later than 10am in order that we have time to get them ready for the next guests
